Mary Cloud, M.S.N., R.N.
Assistant Clinical Professor - College of Nursing
Professor Cloud joined the faculty in January of 2010. She has experience in many areas of maternal-child health, including high risk antepartum, childbirth education, post-partum, pediatrics and gynecology. She has also worked in community health centers as well as occupational health centers as an Occupational Health Nurse Specialist. She has lived extensively overseas and has worked for the U.S. Peace Corps as a Peace Corps Medical Officer and for the U.S. Department of State in health units in Poland, Belgium and Germany. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the Rhode Island State Nurses Association.
In the College of Nursing, she leads the Pathways to Nursing Program which encourages students of color or from socially disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed in the Nursing Program.
