Assistant Clinical Professor - College of Nursing
As a double alumna from the University of Rhode Island, Professor McGrane received her undergraduate degree in 1985 and a Masters in Nursing in 2012, with a concentration in Nursing Education. Christine has spent her entire career in pediatric nursing, working in the acute care setting, home care and community. She is also a RI Certified School Nurse Teacher, with experience in K-12 educational settings. She began teaching as per course in 2012 and became a faculty member in 2014. Christine teaches the pediatric nursing course and pediatric clinical practicum.
Research interest is in the area of School Nurse Teacher presence and positive student outcomes in the educational setting.
